here comes the bride.

I've never been the girl who has her entire wedding planned. I don't have that binder. I don't take notes. I don't care that much. Sure, I love fashion. I love dresses, flowers, and especially CAKE.


BUT. All of the wedding shows on TLC (who's pumped for Sarah Palin's Alaska?!? huh?) are taking over my life Perhaps it's because I've gotten older. Matured a bit. Have opinions about what I like and don't like. I can look at wedding dresses and say "OH NO!" or "oh my gosh. that is stunning!" It's like in the last 2 years, I've planned my entire wedding.




Have you ever watched Say Yes to the Dress? Unless you have an hour to get reeeeeally comfy on your couch, and become a reeeeally opinionated, judgmental person, do NOT turn on TLC on Friday nights. Definitely stay away from the marathons. Before you know it you'll be registered on the Kleinfeld's website, just so you can look through dresses. Thousands, and thousands of dresses. Or you'll find yourself doing laundry, and watching 2 hours of Say Yes to the Dress, then two more hours of Four Weddings. That's 4 hours, folks. 4 hours. Not that I've done either of those things. Psh.

I don't know how it happened. But I'm 20 years old, and I'm sucked in by the wedding industry. I am by no means that materialistic, but I do get more excited than I should when these shows come on.
